AcoRD

Currently we are not delivering any face to face training, however we will continue to review the situation in line with the latest government guidelines.

In the meantime we are offering a range of online and virtual training, details of which can be found on the CRN East Midlands Workforce Development Website and NIHR Learn.

Attributing the costs of health and social care Research & Development (AcoRD) – workshop

Have you ever been asked to review the attribution of costs in a grant application but don’t know where to start?

Not sure about the difference between a Treatment Cost and an NHS Support Cost?

Do you ever find yourself feeling that you need to know about AcoRD as part of your research role, but find the guidance intimidating?

Don’t worry – help is at hand from the CRN East Midlands Study Support Service!

We have a team of staff who are specialists in the AcoRD guidance and who can provide training on cost attribution for clinical research. A training session lasts approximately 3 hours, with plenty of time for questions and discussion. We use nationally developed NIHR CRN training materials that include interactive exercises to help learners understand and apply the different cost categories to research studies by following the cost attribution process.
