This resource has been created to introduce research to Home Care managers, staff and users of services and their families.

We hope it will be helpful for those working in Home Care in understanding the benefits of research and the support available to you.

The package introduces research and how it can benefit your service and the users of your service as well as giving you top tips for easy wins to promote research.

It also introduces users to the support the Clinical Research Network can offer to you.

The course is divided into two parts:

Part One

In part one you will cover a brief introduction of the package and how it works as well as look at how research can benefit YOU.

How research can make your professional life better and how it probably isn't as daunting as you might think.  There are case studies and useful links and tips and we will walk you through setting up your free NIHR Learn account.

Part Two

You can use your new NIHR Learn account to access part two of the course where you will look at what research is and its benefits to you.  The support and resources available to you and lots of useful video and links.

When you've totally completed the resource you can download your certificate 

By the time you have completed all the sections, you will be able to:

2.   Describe how research and innovation is an 'easy win' for you and your organisation

3.   Access existing relevant research easily

4.   Achieve buy in from the team and people who use services
