Currently we are not delivering any face to face training, however we will continue to review the situation in line with the latest government guidelines.
In the meantime we are offering a range of online and virtual training, details of which can be found on the CRN East Midlands Workforce Development Website and NIHR Learn.
Face to Face Learning
We run a number of face to face training sessions across the region.
Our face to face courses include Good Clinical Practice (GCP). This is the international ethical, scientific and practical standard to which all clinical research is conducted. Compliance with GCP provides public assurance that the rights, safety and wellbeing of research participants are protected and that research data are reliable.
We also provide Valid Informed Consent training and our 2 day training course Next Steps in Delivering Clinical Research. The aim of this course is to provide a foundation of knowledge to enable you to develop your practice as a Clinical Research Professional. It offers the opportunity to gain an understanding of the management and running of clinical studies. You will be able to apply relevant knowledge and skills gained from the course to your working environment and you will be able to build on your experience.
